Who We Are

Northstar Neighbor exists to spread a message of hope and compassion by serving our neighbors who are at higher risk of COVID-19 complications.

We make one-on-one connections between a healthy volunteer who has low COVID-19 risk factors with a senior or other high-risk person in the same community for remote companionship, conversation and help with delivery of groceries or prescriptions.

I’m Under 65, Low-Risk, and I’d Like to Help a Neighbor in Need

NorthStar Neighbor connects those of you who are under 65 and at low risk of COVID-19 complications with seniors or other high-risk neighbors in your community who need to maintain social distancing.

You can help your neighbor by picking up groceries or prescriptions or simply being intentional about checking in to talk every day or two.
